Privacy
MarginTrace processes customer records on behalf of the companies that connect them. This page states what is collected, why, and how long it is kept.
Data MarginTrace collects from visitors
Compatibility submissions collect a work email, a company website, and the answers given in the compatibility form. Answers are used to determine whether the product can produce a defensible result and are never used to change price.
Data MarginTrace processes for customers
After payment, a customer connects acquisition, billing, product-event, cost, or help-desk sources. MarginTrace processes those records to build customer identity maps, contribution ledgers, path comparisons, and resolution audit trails.
Connected data is processed only for the connecting company's workspace. It is not pooled across customers and is not used to train shared models.
Sub-processors
MarginTrace uses a payment processor for checkout and billing, cloud infrastructure for storage and compute, and the data sources each customer explicitly connects. A current list is available on request.
Retention and deletion
Compatibility submissions are retained for 24 months. Connected customer data is deleted within 30 days of workspace cancellation, or sooner on written request.
